Teylu (Cornish for "family") is a stone-built fisherman's cottage dating from around 1890, tucked into an elevated terrace in the heart of West Looe. Behind its traditional façade lies a lovingly refurbished interior — double glazing, gas central heating and a well-equipped kitchen sit alongside a cosy through lounge and diner, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a full bath and separate shower. Hidden from passing footfall yet just a minute or two's walk from the quayside, a well-stocked grocery store and The Jolly Sailor (Reportedly) Looe's oldest pub, "serving sailors and locals since 1516") Teylu also has a small, sun-trap south-facing garden with table and chairs. This site is here for family and friends staying at the cottage, with photos and a few local tips to help you make the most of your visit.
